It occurred to me during one of her sessions that throughout her daily life she was literally in fight or flight mode all the time, and even as she laid down to sleep at night her mind took over and repeated obsessive thoughts of worry and fear round and round in her head.This constant fight or flight mode was causing her physical stress on her body. Reiki is subtle yet powerful, while using Reiki you can relax emotionally and physically. When you are deeply relaxed, you are able to let go of this fight or flight pattern even if it is only for a short time at first. She has found ways to relax and let go on a daily basis. When she was able to sleep at night her physical body began to regain energy allowing her to better cope with life and choose which things she would give her attention to.
